Our Partner: A Faith-Based, Not-for-Profit Healthcare System in Mid-Atlantic
The Challenge
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our client faced staffing challenges due to illness and a reduction in hours to supplement childcare as schools and daycares remained closed.
Our Solution
We worked collaboratively to implement a surge float pool to help our partner stay ahead of increased hiring needs. At the onset of the pandemic, we worked with our partner to create and market temporary staff positions within a disaster relief elevated pay code. Additionally, our partner built a dedicated Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) to facilitate the processing of new hires in an expedited manner. Our team spearheaded the recruitment and hiring for the surge float pool program, managing both our partner's internal recruiters and our recruiter team. To increase our partner's volume of quality candidates for the roles and areas that were needed most, we deployed several digital recruitment marketing strategies.
Our Results
Over two months, we hired 200 occupational health candidates for the surge float pool—a resource that our partner has continued to optimize and use across all of their locations.
